It might have been the last country we would have guessed a Carrier robin would travel to: the South-West African country Angola. But Blue did. Only a few weeks after the last pictures of the - by boat traveling - bird, we already received new photo's. Earlier Blue traveled from The Netherlands, via Belgium towards Canada. From Canada back to The Netherlands. And now to Angola. The last picture we received from Carrier robin Black was in Africa (Benin) as well.
We've received pictures from four of the five robins. They've covered almost all continents. Black traveled to Oceania and Africa. We received photo's of Carrier robin Yellow from South America. Pink visited Europe and Asia. And Blue traveled to Europe, North America and Africa. So the only continent they haven't visited, is Antartica. Who knows what the future has in store for the birds...

New pictures of Carrier robin Blue! As you know Blue is traveling by boat; he's accompanying a sailor. He started traveling on the Dutch island Vlieland. Last sign of life was in August from the Belgium harbor of Zeebrugge. We already knew he was traveling to Canada. Now we've received multiple photo's from him. After Canada Blue's journey led him, via Greenland, to Rotterdam. We've been told that Blue is on his way towards Africa! Who knows he might catch up with Black.

Blue @ Zeebrugge (Belgium)
Blue is really on his way now! Last week we received two photo's of Carrier Robin Blue in the Dutch cities of Deventer and Harlingen. This week we've received a next picture already! Blue has arrived in Belgium. In the picture you can see Blue at the harbour of the small Belgium coastal city Zeebrugge (around 4,000 inhabitants). Blue will travel further by boat towards Canada. So who knows, we might receive photo's of him in Vancouver, Québec or Montreal next!

Carrier Robin Blue has been partying! We received a photo of him attending the Deventer Op Stelten (Deventer On Stilts, or freely translated: Deventer goes wild) festival in the Dutch city Deventer. This festival took place from 1-3 July. He has been travelling from the island of Vlieland via Harlingen (click read more for a photo) to Deventer. According to the traveler Blue is traveling with, he is on his way towards Belgium. Traveling by boat! We hope to see a next photo of his next adventure soon!

Carrier robin blue has arrived at the Dutch island Vlieland. This weekend we got a sign of life from him. On the picture you can see him being passed to the next owner. This skipper will take blue to Antwerp first, before taking him towards Africa! We hope te receive his next picture soon!
