It's January. The second month of winter (at least on half the world). A month in which a lot of people are fed up with the cold and unpredictable weather. That's probably why January traditionally is a month in which a lot of people book their summer holiday. The Seychelles is an island country in the Indian Ocean, northeast of Madagascar. The Seychelles are one of the most photographed beaches in the world.
2) Maldives
The Maldives are also an island nation, consisting of 1192 islands. Around 200 are inhabited. The Maldives are around 400 kilometres south-west of India.

Bora Bora is one of the islands of the French Polynesia, in the Pacific Ocean.
4) The Hamptons, New York
The place to be for the 'rich and famous' from New York.
5) Lanikai Beach, Hawaii
Lanikai Beach is a small beach (only 0.8 km) on Oahu island, Hawaii.
6) Nantucket Island, Massachusetts
Nantucket, an island in the Atlantic Ocean, is around 48 kilometres south of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The island is approximately 50 square miles large.
7) Fraser Island, Australia
Fraser Island is an island located along the south coast of Queensland, Australia, about 200 kilometres north of Brisbane.
8) St. Bart's
St. Bart's is one of the many islands in the Caribbean Sea. The 13 kilometres long island is edged by 20 beaches and small coves.
9) Langkawi, Malaysia (third pic)
Langkawi is an archipelago in the Andaman Sea, consisting of 104 islands. The name 'Langkawi' translates into 'the island of one's wishes'.
10) Kauna'oa, Hawaii
This beach is only 0.4 kilometres long. Kauna'oa is located on the Kohala Coast of the Aloha State Big Island.
