A rainy day in Northern Europe. Time for some inspiring? depressing?, well, classical music & art ;)

Yesterday, me and my sister went back in time and had a sister night out in Ahoy Rotterdam. We went crazy to the music of NKOTBSB. And we weren't the only ones. A lot of special ladies were dressed up to impress the Kids and Boys. New Kids on the Block and the Backstreetboys. A team made in heaven. Embarrassed to come out we are fans? Not a single bit. There just something about boybands. You know what it is?

And yes, they recorded this single. It's a lot better when you actually went to the concert. But it is over now so let me share with you, an amazing night out.

Love ... you might know what happens to you. Maybe you feel it in your stomach, maybe you wake up and realize you are flying on butterflies, maybe you feel torn apart. Well, let me tell you: that might not be so weird as it sounds when you put it like that.

Well, not if we have to believe Mark Mieras in his book "Liefde, Wat hersenonderzoek onthult over de klik, de kus en al het andere" ("Love, what neuroscience discovered about the click, the kiss, and beyond").

What defines sexiness? What do we consider as pretty? What is beauty? Physical attraction isn't a physical feature, according to Mieras. It's a formula in the brains e.g. defined by someones body, voice, attention, wealth and even ... hunger (What hunger has to do with what we consider to be attractive, read What is the new SKINNY...?!
