Why photos on canvas are just not done: Walter Benjamin and Jacques Derrida

a photo on canvasIt started a few years ago: having your best photos printed on canvas. To hang them on your wall, which seems a wonderful solution for an ancient problem: how to decorate my house? People often have a scary white surface above their couch, and it would just cheer up your room big time if a piece of art ornamented your big white wall. But what to buy?

Few people are art lovers pur sang and actually have the money and want to spend it on real art. Another option is to paint it yourself, but how many people can actually paint something they want to look at every day and still feel good about it by the sight of it? So, if you can't afford or do not want to buy real art, if you're not the next Bob 'you want a tree, we'll make a tree' Ross and if Ikea isn't your cuppa tea either, then what do you do? Right, you turn to photos on canvas. But why?

Wow, that was depressing. I'm not sure I ever go back to an organic store!

Today, I visited a organic supermarket. My hairdresser advised me to buy B vitamins to prevent my hair from falling out - and save time by not having to clean the shower drain after shampooing my hair. Well, I thought to myself, if it is that easy to get healthier hair, why not?
